Custom work & commissions

Design and build are separate purchases. You can buy the design, read it, and walk away with it.

Commissions are currently closed. The process below is published so you know exactly how it works when they reopen.

How it works

Seven stages. You can stop after the design and owe nothing further.

  1. Enquiry — free

Tell us what you want, your framework, and your budget range. Within 24–48 hours you get feasibility, a ballpark tier, and an honest answer on whether it should be built at all.

  2. Design phase — paid, Feature $450–700 · System $900–1,800 · Suite from $2,500

Research, decisions and their consequences, the data model, the API surface, milestones with test conditions, and what's explicitly out of scope. The document is yours, and 50% credited against the build if you proceed.

  3. Fixed quote

Priced from the design, not from a guess — so the number doesn't move later. Valid 30 days.

  4. Scheduling

The deposit books a dated slot. Builds run one at a time, first-paid-first-served, and you're told your real start date before you pay.

  5. Build, milestone by milestone

Each milestone ships as a working, testable thing with its own gate condition — and you get the source at every one, not just at the end.

  6. Verification

Tests, probes, benchmarks against a stated budget, and gates reported honestly — including when one hasn't been met.

  7. Delivery & aftercare

Source, design document, test suite, debug commands, and install support until it runs. Bugs stay free for 60 days.

Pricing

Bands, not fixed prices — every commission is quoted from its design. Turnaround is working time from your confirmed start date, not from payment.

System pricing is under review

We're re-measuring what a full system actually costs to build to our standard, so a quote may come back above the band below. You'll always get the real number in writing, from your design, before you pay anything — and you're free to walk away at that point.

🔩

Tweak

Config work, reskins, balance passes, dependency swaps, fixing someone else's script.

$80 – $200 3 – 7 days 100% upfront
🧩

Feature

A new mechanic inside an existing resource, a job stage, an NUI panel. Ships with tests and a debug command.

$350 – $900 2 – 4 weeks 50% deposit, 50% on delivery
⚙️

System

A standalone resource with its own schema, persistence, UI, test suite and benchmark.

$1,200 – $3,500 6 – 12 weeks Design fee, then 40% / 30% / 30% on build milestones
🏗️

Suite

Multiple interlocking resources with a shared contract — a whole economy, a department, a framework replacement.

$3,500+ 3 – 6 months Design fee, then per milestone

Minimum $80 · open-ended and maintenance work $65/hour (billed in 30-minute blocks) · rush +40% buys an earlier start, not a shorter build · exclusivity +100% of the quoted price.

What "done" means

This is most of why a system takes weeks rather than days — and the difference between something that demoed once and something that survives a full server.

Automated test suite

Assertions covering the engine and its edge cases, runnable by you at any time. Logic that can't be tested live is built with its dependencies injected so it can be tested without them.

Debug tooling you keep

Probe and inspect commands that print the actual state — raw stored values, resolved containers, computed plans — so a future problem is one command, not an evening.

Benchmarks against a budget

Throughput, per-operation cost and p95 latency under sustained load, against a budget written in advance. Where something can't be measured at your player count, the report says so.

Honest milestone gates

A gate that hasn't been met is reported as not met — including when that's inconvenient. You'll never be told something is finished because the calendar says it should be.

Ownership

Read this part

You receive the full source and a perpetual, irrevocable licence to use and modify it on any server you own — it never expires, survives the end of our working relationship, and transfers once if you sell your server.

We retain ownership, and unless you buy exclusivity we may sell a derived version later. You're buying a licence and the source, not the copyright. Your configuration, branding and anything recorded as unique to you is never reused.
